Cara’s brother Sean, passed away suddenly in August of 2024. Sean was a self-proclaimed “people enthusiast” and was always the life of the party! Sean lit up every room he entered and his energy, contagious laugh, and love he shared, made an immediate and lasting impact on anyone around him. He had a stong passion for everything New Orleans and French inspired, along with show tunes, Broadway, and any opportunity for a karoke song on the mic. Sean’s signature love quote: “Love you Mean it”, aka LUMI, is something we use daily as a reminder of him. We miss him terribly but we know he is getting the party started for us.

Steve’s brother, Dave, passed away in August of 2025 after a courageous 2.5 year battle with colorectal cancer. Dave, affectinonately known as “Dr. Dave”, was a doctor known for his extreme love and care for his patients, co-workers, and friends alike. Dave was the most generous human being, always sharing love, good food, and creating amazing memories for his family and friends. Dave’s signature love saying was “Hey Buddy….”. As soon as you met Dave, you were his buddy for life. Dave made us all better people so we strive to “Live Like Dave” in his honor, especially during any Ohio sports team games, where his love and passion shined bright and loud. We miss Dave immensely but his legacy lives on as we appreciate and celebrate all the little moments each day brings, just as Dave did.

While we have always been passionate about supporting local businesses and helping our community, our inspiration to make our impact bigger came from our desire to “Live Like Dave” and spread Sean’s “Love You Mean It” message, more! So, from some of our toughest life moments, Yard Love North Georgia was born to give us the opportunity to keep Sean and Dave’s legacies alive by spreading our love, and theirs, one sign at a time!
